Assistive Technology (AT)


Assistive Technology is a generic term that includes assistive, adaptive, rehabilitative devices and software modifications that promote greater independence for people with disabilities. AT enables individuals to perform tasks that they were formerly unable to accomplish, or had great difficulty accomplishing, by providing enhancements to or changed methods of interacting with the technology needed to accomplish such tasks.

The Assistive Technology Collection includes short, show-and-tell video tutorials that empower educators to use and apply assistive technology.
